Conserve natural resources by adopting pollution prevention practices. Ex: extending the life of equipment through preventive maintenance scheduling, purchasing and reworking used equipment etc.
Develop and improve operations and technologies to minimize waste, and other pollution, minimize health and safety risks, and dispose of waste safely and responsibly by applying the 3R concept which are recycle, reduce and reuse concept.
Ensure the responsible use of energy throughout our business, including conserving energy improving energy efficiency, and giving preference to renewable over non-renewable energy when feasible.
Participate in efforts to improve environmental protection by sharing appropriate pollution prevention technology, knowledge and methods with other firms.
Meet and exceed all applicable Federal and State requirements set and adhere to stringent requirements no matter where we do business.
Strive to continually to improve PMSB environmental management system and performance through participation in the EMS (Environmental Management System) program offered by related government agencies.
Promptly report all noncompliance issues in accordance with applicable governmental reporting requirements, evaluate causes of noncompliance, and implement corrective actions.
Establish procedures for periodic review of environmental compliance with all laws and regulations.
Establish procedures to ensure all that employees understand and comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.
Promptly correct any practice or condition not in compliance with this policy.
Comply with the Environmental Quality Act 1974 by register premises under Department of Environmental and conduct proper procedure for the scheduled waste management system
Prestasi Mewah Sdn Bhd have assigned one competent person who has undergo Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWaM) training.
This competent person will monitor and manage all scheduled waste activities that ensures company comply with DOE regulations.
Environmental Budgeting is important to ensure adequate resources are available for implementation of environmental safeguards and that provides transparency to assure the funds remain available for these activities.
